You are in the Heart of PyroMotion : the fireworks creation. Use the 4 parts of this workshop for creating incredible shows : audio line, time line, pyro line and script view.

 

All the other workshops are linked to this one. Add pyro items from the database, add audio channel, manage your cues, add sequences, put audio markers...

 

Just see them by time. Move, change, scroll, zoom... your project is beginning to live in few mouse clicks !

  • User Experience

You are going to spend time on this workshop. We specially studied the user interface, providing a lot of convenient tools, shortcuts and easy way to access functions.

 

How to create if the tools are boring, slow, old and specially not dedicated for what you are doing ?

 

We studied your behaviors, some other tools, and some other area like video, graphics, sound... To bring the best of the technology dedicated to fireworks creation.

 

And here is the result : a nice, friendly and efficient tool !

   

Creation : Audio Part

  • Stereo Channels

Add audio channels to your project, to synchronize pyro with sound. This feature is optional, you are able (of course) to build a project without sound.

 

Today PM supports 2 channels for combining sound as you need :

  • 1 Stereo sound file
  • 2 Mono sound files
  • 1 Mono sound file with Voice Stream
  • Voice Stream
  • Multiple Audio Format

PM supports these formats in 44.1 kHz 16 bits :

  • Wave (.wav)
  • MP3 (.mp3)
  • AU (.au, .snd)
  • AIFF (.aif, .aifc, .aiff)

 

The PM standard format is Wave 44.1 kHz 16 bits. All export, matrix, ripping sound file are in this format.

  • Audio Markers

Add markers on the audio channel when playing or off. This will help you to synchronize pyro on sound. Doesn't matter the cues time, the important is the timing of the pyro with the sound events.

 

Add stereo markers or mono channel marker, according to your project.

  • Graphic Sound

Adding sound to a project generate once a PM peak file for graphic display. Changing the sound file... the PM peak file is automatically updated.

 

This graph is very precise and let you see all the behavior of the sound. Some additional features let you the choice of the display rendering (normal, average and 3D).

  • Voice Command

For people who want a voice command channel, PyroMotion brings you the best. In one click, automatically build your voice command each time you need. For each cue set, PM put the right voice information on the channel with the right countdown. No enough time between two cues ? PM reduce the countdown as needed, letting you to fire with  2 seconds cue gap.

 

PM renew the Voice Command concept by allowing you to light fireworks with high intensity commands.

 

You are able to choose your language, and even you are able to put your own voice.

  • Import Audio CD Track

Use your best CD tracks for your projects. PM brings you a true ripping tool, for importing tracks directly into your projects.

Import channels available : mono, left, right or stereo.

  • Matrix

Build the matrix of you project from mono sound files. PM creates for you a stereo files from the audio you setup, in Wave 44,1 kHz 16 bits format.

 

You'll directly be able to burn a CD with your favorite burner tool.

   

Creation : Time Part

 

  • Time Management

PyroMotion manages the time with 1 ms resolution.

All timing values are in this unit, displayed in the selected format.

 

Why using 1 ms resolution while a pyro product has an accuracy around 1/10 s ?

  • For compatibility issue. Some electronic systems run now with a low resolution.
  • For flexibility. A low resolution, let's the opportunity to do whatever we want and whatever we'll need for future use of PyroMotion.
  • For using standards. 1 ms is the standard time resolution used by computers.
  • Multiple Time Format

PM supports few time formats :

  • Decimal (mm:ss:d)
  • Decimal (mm:ss:ddd)
  • SMPTE 30 fps (mm:ss:ff)
  • SMPTE 25 fps (mm:ss:ff)
  • SMPTE 24 fps (mm:ss:ff)
  • Easy Navigation

PyroMotion provides an easy document navigation or transport. Using your laptop or a desk computer, controls are precise and intuitive, following the standards of audio & video industry.

 

Zoom In, Zoom Out... With 1 click Pan left and Pan right...

All the lines (audio, time, pyro) are scrolled and scaled automatically following your movements, all in real time !

  • Misc

Time Magnet. Use this optional magnet resolution (10 ms, 100 ms, 500 ms, 1 s) for guides. All markers and items you move will have their own time in this resolution.

 

Zero offset. Move the zero of your project where you want, for example the first cue (so you'll be able to start your chronometer).

   

Creation : Pyro Part

 

  • Cue Markers

A Cue is a fire command at a specific time. In a manual command system, a cue means a series of items fired at the same time. In an electronic command system, a cue means the order of sub-command lighted at the same time.

 

Add -as many you need- cues in a project. There is no limit in fact, just the limit of your computer. Each cue got their own number. Changing a cue position, changes as necessary the cues order. Just let PM do that for you.

 

Then connect some pyro items to, adjust the right time according to these items. The cue is done. Just launch the Voice Command Stream menu and see the right voice command on your cue.

  • Sequence Markers

A Sequence is like a chapter in a book. Sequences help you for the transport in timeline and for cutting your project in logical parts.

  • Pyro Items

From the database, or directly for specific products, add pyro items in the streamline and setup their precise time.

 

Pyro Items are displayed with convenient information :

  • Type and subtype

  • Color codes
  • Item own markers
  • Description
  • Number of items if grouped
  • Delays before
  • State (connected or alone)
  • .../...

With one look, you are able to recognize the item type, its position, its state... And when you "play" the project, immediately you are able to see what's happen, item by item during the time.

  • Work as usual

Chain items, or link them in salvo. Setup the right delays. Add cues, connect your pyro chain to the cue. That's it !

 

Then you are able to adjust the cue to the right time, according to your pyro chain and according to the other items.

 

This is a totally new and innovative system in the pyro world.

   

Creation : Script Part

 

  • Automatic scripting

You are working on the pyro line. You graphically build your pyro project. PyroMotion build for you the script. Need to change time ? To change pyro chain ? To add or remove items ?... The script is automatically updated !

 

If you love to build pyro, your computer loves to build scripts.

 

PyroMotion broke the way to use a computer with pyro. You are not a script composer, but pyro specialist. Let's the computer generate its own script.

 

This script view is always available, this is the fourth part of your workshop. Of course you are able to resize these parts as needed.

  • Time Specialist

You are going to learn to pay less attention on the script part.

If you are a time calculation scientist, PyroMotion is definitely not for you. Let PyroMotion to manage your project times for you.

  • Increase content

The automatic scripting can't fill in all the fields, according to your project. This a kind of start point.

 

Add comments, titles, position... and other information for increasing the quality of your project.
